Diving into diversity: Clubs kick off spring '07

More than 50 clubs and organizations kicked off HPU’s 2007 spring semester with Club Carnival, Feb. 2 on Fort Street Mall. Hundreds of students were able to sign up with campus professional, recreational, and cultural clubs. HPU diversity was prominent on campus as numerous ethnic clubs recruited new members who wanted to get to know different cultures and meet new people. [More]

Mayor’s press secretary visits HPU

Bill Brennan, spokesman for Mayor Mufi Hannemann, visited HPU’s interpersonal communication class on Nov. 17. Brennan talked about his career in public relations, including the challenges he encountered as a government press secretary. [More]

Hawaiian Telcom CEO joins HPU Board of Trustees
