In 1998-1999, we were named the "Most Outstanding College Newspaper" by the American Scholastic Press Association. In 1999-2000, we won a National 1st Place Award. We aim for excellence and would like to invite you to be a part of our publication and share our achievements.
Advertising in Kalamalama, is an efficient way to reach your target market at a low cost. The newspaper is a full color tabloid that reaches more than 8,500 college students with an average age of 25 years, many of them with substantial personal or family income. The enrollment in Hawaii Pacific University has increased year by year as our school gains more prestige and reputation as an outstanding university.
In addition to our own two campuses, Kalamalama is sent to all the local high schools and colleges on Oahu and the neighbor islands as well as to all Hawaii news media, prominent local businesses and community leaders, and more than 1,400 HPU faculty and staff.
