President's Hosts inducted at Indigos
by Kalamalama staff

Nineteen new President’s Hosts were inducted during a Sept. 24 ceremony at Indigo’s restaurant on Nuuanu Avenue.

Faculty, staff and hosts enjoyed a mix of Asian-European cuisine as HPU President Chatt G. Wright greeted each new host and Assistant Director of Student Life, Heather Dwyer, explained that the hosts will represent the school with enthusiasm and pride for the rest of their lives.

Dwyer started the program by welcoming everyone back to the new school year and introducing President Wright who emphasized his own pride with the hosts who represent HPU here in Hawai‘i, and around the world.

The 16 hosts inducted for the fall 2001 semester are: Justina Anderson, Latilla Cain, Jeffery Colwell, Yonie Esperitu, Juan Carlos Rivas Espinosa, Dedre Fukumoto, Melissa Gatmaitan,Raul Gomez, William Greineisen, Brigette Istre, Angela Meyers, Christine Nguyen, Dave Nazareth, Casey Painter, Nathalie Parkvall, Desiree Scholtz, Matthew Smythe, Antonia Takeno, Ryan Whitfield.
