Get
a healthy start on fitness
Every day Americans are faced with a choice:
eat fast or eat healthy. Sadly, most opt for a meal deal at
the closest fast food joint rather than a salad and some fruit
for lunch. It is that trend that prompted U.S. Surgeon General,
David Satcher, to warn Americans that obesity may soon overtake
tobacco as the leading cause of preventable deaths.

Low
fat fast food items
A lawsuit was recently brought by Caesar Barber,
a 57-year-old Bronx maintenance worker who weighs 270-pounds,
against McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Burger
King. Barber alleged these restaurants did not warn customers
that a steady diet of their products could lead to health
problems. So, many fast food eateries are opting for more
health-conscious items on their menus.
