HPU
unites in Sept. 11 rememberance
On the first anniversary of the terrorist attacks
on America, HPU hosted a forum called 9/11 Global Remembrance
at the downtown campus. Hundreds of students, along with faculty
and teachers, took part in prayer, shed some tears, and reflected
back one year to the tragic events that changed our lives.

Bus: Is our transit system safe?
The Bus is a great asset to commuters here on
O‘ahu. It provides an efficient means of transportation for
those who don’t own a vehicle. And for the ones who do, it’s
a nice alternative, a chance to avoid the hassle and expense
of parking or save gas money.

Should
Israel return land for peace?
Terror, ruins, innocent victims and suicide bombers
have filled the headlines with the Middle East conflict that
is raging between Israel and Palestine. These headlines have
become everyday digest for us as international spectators a
war that has lasted for more than 30 years, longer than any
other in modern time and from my point of view, far from over
