Sacred Falls may reopen...someday

Will Sacred Falls reopen? Maybe, according to State Parks Administrator Daniel Quinn, “The park could open again.”

A Hawaiian demi-god created Sacred Falls

The valley’s name comes from Hawaiian folklore about a mischievous Polynesian demigod called Kamapua‘a who can take the shape of a man, a pig, a giant pig, or a herd of pigs.

   

Less exercise is more effective

Instead of spending hour after hour, week after week, doing long, unfocused aerobic workouts, here is a suggestion how to get effective results spending 20 minutes three times a week
