Chaplain's Corner
with Reverend Dale Burke

Finals seem to be approaching at warp speed! Youíre caught in the crunch. Where are you going to find time to do all that needs to be done to get your papers completed and to prepare for exams?

You can do it. Set your priorities, take one small bite at a time, and stay with it.

Diligent effort, no matter how slammed your schedule might be, is always rewarded!

Donít forget to rely on your spiritual strength.

Thereís something new going on! The happening place each Sunday night now is the lanai at the Hawaii Loa Campus! We have started the Sunday Night Live HPU Chapel service at 7:30 p.m. Great music, inspirational messages, prayer, fellowship and refreshments bring us together. Everyone is invited!

This service is sponsored by the religious groups on campus and is non-denominational. Come on by and check it out. It will help you to get a good start on the week.

Our regular Wednesday noon Chapel service still happens at Warmer Auditorium with the same excellent spirit. These are two great ways to keep the spiritual batteries charged as we face the onslaught of our many responsibilities.

Need food? Donít forget about our HPU Foodbank. It is available to anyone and everyone in our community who is in temporary need. Itís distributed out of my office in UB 1506 and completely confidential. Call 544-9394.

Good luck in your final exams and have a blessed and joyous Holiday season!
