HPU’s Career Services Center (CSC)
1132 Bishop Street, Suite 502, Honolulu, HI 96813 Phone: (808) 544-0238, Fax: (808) 544-1136 Provides career development preparation, career counseling, job preparation, job search assistance, employment listing, cooperative education and internships, career opportunity referrals, and career geared seminars and workshops. This spring , CSC is planning on implementing a Web-driven system for students that will offer job bulletins, career outlooks, salary ranges, internship opportunities, and interactive resources.
Great Website that serves as a job search engine, as well as a career center. The job search engine will look for jobs by state, industry, company, or keyword. The career center provides information on business etiquette, resume writing, and job reports.

Many times companies who don’t want to spend the time and energy looking for a qualified applicant will use staffing company services which screen and evaluate job applicants before sending them to clients. Career and self-assessment tools
Hosts Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, Personality Types Profiles Directory, Keirsey Temperament Sorter, and The Inner-Self Personality Test Offers links to an assortment of career builder and assessment tools including career interest quizzes, career changing or planning quizzes, America’s career InfoNet (explores the outlook and trends of all types of careers), and Catapult Career Choices.

Academic background: performance, coursework, computer skills, well-rounded education
