Tae Yung, a sophomore from Korea studying CSIS, was a fierce
competitor and won the event. His competitors were Fred Kalu,
Jr. a sophomore from Nigeria studying international relations
and KC Bejerana, the program director for Xtreme Radio 104.3.
Morning DJs Hawaiian Ryan and Taniaha were also at the event
and had good things to say about HPU. “HPU students are really
laid back, down to earth, and very friendly. They are easy to
approach,” said Taniaha.
On display on Fort Street during the Bungee Run was a 2003
Toyota Corolla that will be given away at T & C Surf’s Spring
Break Party, “Epic Sesh 2” on March 26 at Pipeline Café. T &
C and Xtreme Radio will also giveaway surf and skate products
and a Bose portable acoustic wave unit.
