HPU Falls in over-time to BYU-H Despite a late surge from the HPU Sea Warriors BYU-Hawaii hung on and won in overtime,70-61 in a PacWest conference game at the Neil Blaisdell Arena Feb. 12.

HPU splits with Chaminade The HPU men’s basketball team split a series with Chaminade at McCabe Gym Feb. 20 and 22, winning the first 85-73 and losing the second 95-87.

HPU softball takes HSU-Billings series 3-1 The HPU softball team got to within one inning of a no-hitter from junior Malia Sullivan as it won three of four games against Montana State University-Billings in a rain-hampered series at windward campus field Feb. 21-23.

Tennis losses to BYU-H, men beat UH-Manoa The defending division II national champion and third-ranked Brigham Young University-Hawai‘i men’s tennis team upset second ranked HPU 6-3 in a PacWest Conference showdown Feb. 19 at the Kailua Racquet Club.
