New sports for Pac West, HPU to attract colleges to join Division II

As a result of new NCAA regulations, the Hawai‘i Pacific University Sea Warriors and the other five PacWest Conference participants will battle it out in two new sports come the 2004-2005 school year.

   

Tennis squad fall to BYU-H in PacWest

The HPU men’s and women’s tennis teams lost to Brigham Young University-Hawai‘i 2-5 and 0-7, respectively, in the finals of the PacWest Conference Championships April 10-12 in Billings, Mont.

The Hawai‘i Pacific University softball team’s shortstop Brandy Choy Foo racked up enough impressive numbers to earn PacWest player of the week and Easton Tournament of Champions MVP April 4-6.
