Million dollar tech center opens at HPU

Nearly $2 million in high technology classrooms and laboratories became available for HPU students and faculty when the Hawai‘i Pacific University Frear Center opened Aug. 6.

A place of our own! Seas Warrior Center opens

Finally. A place HPU students, faculty, and staff can relax and call their own. On Aug. 1 The Sea Warrior Center, located on the ground floor of the Blaisdell Hotel, at 1154 Fort St., opened its door for business.

New IDs "smartcard"

Change is often hard, and just as often good. “Good” seems to be the word for the new “smart ” ID cards that will be required of all HPU students, faculty, and staff, beginning with the 2003-04 school year.
