Fourteen delegates from the Bureau of Land Resource of Chengdu
City, China, took part in a one-day, educational seminar at
Hawai‘i Pacific University recently to learn about strategies
and techniques they can use to address land use development
and resource conservation in their area.
“The group’s intentions were to study the land use
and development pattern in Hawai‘i, using Waikiki as a
case study,” explained Wendy Lam, director of the HPU Travel
Industry Management program. “At HPU, we were able to provide
them a quality educational program that is customized to meet
their needs.” |
