Visiting
Vietnam
Vietnam is ideal if the traveler is interested in exploring
the exotic traditions of a 2,000-year-old culture, and rich
history. According to Travel and Leisure magazine, Vietnam
has been one of the hottest destinations since 1999. People
who are unfamiliar with Vietnam may still think of it as a
war-torn country, but after the liberalization and reunification
it became an attractive spot for tourism. The sublime beauty
of the country’s natural setting overwhelms most visitors
to Vietnam: there are luscious rain forests, green rice paddies,
inviting beaches, and majestic mountains. |

Air ballooning - the ultimate sight seeing experience
The experience of flying has been the ultimate dream for humans
since the first primitive hunter watched his dinner take flight.
Today, after years of research and trial and error, many people
travel by airplane on a regular basis, and therefore it might
not be a big deal anymore. However, the airplane was not the
first means of transportation in the history of aviation. In
1782, in France, the hot air balloon was born.

HPU Chaplain takes Special Olympics
team to World Games in Ireland
The Special Olympic athlete’s oath is this: “Let
me win, but if I cannot win, let me brave in the attempt”.
This theme was never more evident than at the Special Olympic
World Games in Dublin, Ireland, June 20-30, 2003. The wonderful
people of Ireland opened their arms and welcomed 7,500 athletes
and coaches from 166 countries around the world to share in
the spirit of athletic competition. Not everyone won a medal,
but all were brave in the attempt and many friendships were
forged.
