How would you like to face a Sumo wrestler, get thrown onto
a Velcro wall, win a comedy contest, or dunk your “favorite” professor
in a tank of water? The HPU Office of Student Life and HPU
student government--ASHPU--is giving you the chance.

Every Friday students, faculty, and
staff are invited to “Thank Goodness It’s Friday,” a
time to enjoy these and other fun, free events such as listening
to music on the Mall, learning self-defense, climbing a rock
wall, or getting a “stress-buster” massage. Also
featured this year: MTV’s “I Bet You Will”— a
tasteful game of truth or dare, and the ever-popular dating
show Singled Out. Everyone who comes will also have chances
to win
movie tickets, HPU logo wear and Coca-Cola products.
TGIF is a great way to meet other students, relax, and get
involved at HPU. TGIF events are held every Friday from noon
to 4 p.m.
on upper Fort Street Mall on the downtown campus. Three times
each semester TGIF will move to the Windward Hawai‘i
