HPU is offering scholarships to transfer students from two-
or four-year colleges and universities throughout the United
States. The Ho‘omau Scholarship recognizes outstanding
young men and women who excel academically, who are involved
in their schools and communities, and who demonstrate leadership
potential. This program offers $2,000 tuition scholarships
that are renewable for up to three years.
Scholarship requirements are as follows:

Completion of an associate degree, or earning at least 24 credits
prior to transferring to HPU
·
Be a current student enrolled full-time at a two-or four-year
college in the U.S.
·
Maintain full-time status while enrolled at HPU in the fall
and spring semesters
·
A cumulative college GPA of 3.5
Applicants must complete an HPU application for admission;
have an official transcript from his or her college or university
sent directly to HPU, including the last term completed; provide
verification of enrollment for the current term showing full-time
status; submit the completed Ho‘omau Scholarship Application
including two recommendation forms; and attach an essay (not
to exceed two pages) describing his or her educational and
personal objectives.
