The festivities will start at 5 p.m. with lots
of live entertainment to keep everyone from heading home early.
Local artists include The Makaha Sons of Ni‘ihau, Sistah
Robi, Sean Naauao, Maunalua, Raiatea, Ten Feet, Pati, and Milo
Shade.
Along with the entertainment their will be food booths, prizes,
and giveaways including an interisland trip.
“
The baseball team is putting on the fundraiser to help build
interest in the baseball program and to raise money for the team,” said
Jarnett Lono, HPU’s sports information director.
Lono is also hoping that the fundraiser will raise enough
money to get more home games at Aloha Stadium, since HPU
is the only
college that does play baseball there.
Presale tickets are $15 and may be purchased through the
athletics department, Penthouse, Library Building at 1069
Bishop St.
Tickets at the door will be $20.
