Chaplain's Corner
with Reverend Dale Burke

The Happening Places every Wednesday noon and Sunday evening (7:30 p.m.) are the HPU Chapel services! These non-denominational services feature singing, Scripture reading and a challenging and encouraging message to add inspiration to your week. Primarily led by students, they are a terrific way to keep our lives strengthened and in balance in the midst of all of the busy-ness of the semester. Does your week need a lift? Come check them out! The Wednesday service is at Warmer Auditorium and the Sunday service is on the lanai at the Hawaii Loa campus.

Are you interested in Making a Difference? Many of the clubs and organizations on campus sponsor community service activities designed to give students an opportunity to make a difference in our world by volunteering precious time. Life is truly at its best when it is shared with others! For more information call or e-mail any of our clubs or call me at 544-9394.

HPU Food Bank. Yes, there is one available to all members of our HPU community. Do you know someone temporarily in need? Food drives are being conducted around the campus for this worthwhile resource. It is all very confidential. Spread the word and call me at the above number.

We’re almost half way through this fall semester…you can do it! Keep the fire!
