Halloween fell on a Friday night this year,
and what better way for HPU students to celebrate than at
ASHPU’s second annual Monster’s Ball at Planet
Hollywood in Waikiki. Hundreds of students attended, showing
off their best costumes (or not), but costumes weren’t
required to enter the Ball.
Sixty-seven students were inducted into the
HPU President’s Host program at an Oct. 28 reception
at the Waialae Country Club. It was the largest group ever
inducted, according to Elizabeth Tiglao, associate director
of Student Life.
Ghosts, goblins—and basketball? The HPU
Athletic Department and the Office of Student Life hosted
their second annual Halloween Hoop-la held Oct. 30 at St.
Andrew’s Priory to introduce the 2003-2004 HPU basketball
team and to give HPU clubs and organizations a chance to
build Halloween spirit for themselves and the community.
