Marketing professor wins two "Best Paper" awards

by Kalamalama staff

Dr. Yooncheong Cho, assistant professor of marketing in the HPU College of Business Administration, received two separate “Best Paper” awards for her research work on customer satisfaction in relation to electronic commerce.

Dr. Cho received the first award at the European Applied Business Research Conference held in Venice, Italy, earlier this year. She was recognized for her paper entitled, “Consumer Choice Behavior and E-Satisfaction on the Web: The Effects of Product Attributes,” which she co-wrote with Dr. Joseph Ha, HPU assistant professor of marketing.

Cho also received top billing at the International Applied Business Research Conference for her work on another paper entitled, “Measuring Attitudes toward Websites and Customer Satisfaction: Implications to E-Business,” also co-authored by Dr. Ha.

The conference was held earlier this month in Las Vegas. The paper will be further reviewed for possible publication in the Journal of Business & Economics Research.

A member of the marketing faculty since 2002, Dr. Cho holds a M.B.A. from Cornell University and a Ph.D. from Rutgers University.
