Marketing professor wins two "Best
Paper" awards

Dr. Yooncheong Cho, assistant professor of marketing in the
HPU College of Business Administration, received two separate “Best
Paper” awards for her research work on customer satisfaction
in relation to electronic commerce.

| Dr. Cho received the first award at the European
Applied Business Research Conference held in Venice, Italy, earlier
this year. She was recognized for her paper entitled, “Consumer
Choice Behavior and E-Satisfaction on the Web: The Effects of
Product Attributes,” which she co-wrote with Dr. Joseph
Ha, HPU assistant professor of marketing. |

Cho also received top billing at the International Applied
Business Research Conference for her work on another paper
entitled, “Measuring Attitudes toward Websites and Customer
Satisfaction: Implications to E-Business,” also co-authored
by Dr. Ha.

| The conference was held earlier this month in Las
Vegas. The paper will be further reviewed for possible publication
in the Journal of Business & Economics Research. |

| A member of the marketing faculty since 2002, Dr.
Cho holds a M.B.A. from Cornell University and a Ph.D. from Rutgers
University. |
