Intercultural preview delights hundreds

On Nov. 7, students caught a glimpse of what the spring 2004 Intercultural Day will be like when winners from last year’s event participated in what is becoming an annual fall preview.

   

Honor society inducts 369

HPU welcomed 369 students into 13 honor societies at the annual Fall Honors Brunch held at the Hale Koa Hotel. The Nov. 2 ceremony recognized students who have excelled academically in different fields of study at the University.

   

"Spanning the World" at HPU

HPU held it’s first-ever symposium on Global Citizenship Nov. 8 at the Hawai‘i Loa campus. Dr. Jeanne Rellahan, Dean of the college of International Studies, and Nancy Ellis, vice president of Student Support Services, lead a group of faculty members who put together the event, along with the help of several students.
