The main building at the Bishop Museum, 1525 Bernice St. in Kalihi, dates from the institution’s founding in 1889 by Charles Reid Bishop in memory of his wife and last daughter of King Kamehameha, Bernice Pauahi Bishop. Hawai‘i Hall, the interior seen below, is on the far right of the building.
