Club Carnival enlivens Fort St. Mall

The HPU spring Club Carnival transformed Fort Street mall into a day-long festival of talk and laughter on Jan. 30. The carnival began at 10 a.m. and featured booths from 56 HPU clubs and organizations as well as a few community organizations. The different groups set up their booths early in the day, with some students even up with the sun and braving the rain to stand in line at the Student Life office to get choice spots on the Mall.

February a month of Black History

To those who are unfamiliar with Black History, February is just another month of the year; however, for the African-American community, February is a reminder and celebration of struggles and accomplishments.

Students say "Go" to stoplight

What began as an ordinary class project, turned into an intense lesson in grass roots, community politics for five students who pressed local political systems to see if they could improve the welfare of the HPU community.
