Mickey is coming to HPU!
That’s, right. Walt Disney World recruiters will be on
campus Feb. 19 to talk to students interested in the Walt Disney
World College Program, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for
anyone wishing to find out what it’s like to work for
one of the largest and most recognized companies in the world.
Walt Disney World, in Orlando, Fla., is the world’s largest
single-site employer with more than 55,000 employees. The college
program recruits more than 9,000 college students every semester
for paid internships that can provide great experience and
look good on a resume.
The program is open to all undergraduate majors. HPU expects
students accepted into the the program to take at least one
of seven college accredited classes provided by WDW. The total
number of credits available from these classes, and from the
internship itself, depend on an individual’s program
and can be determined in advanced by an HPU career counselor.
If you are ready for the opportunity, here’s what you
need to:
1. Go to wdwcollegeprogram.com. Follow the instructions and
fill out the application
form.
2. Go to HPU’s Career Services Center on the fifth floor of the First Hawaiian
Tower building at 1132 Bishop St. and ask to sign up for the Walt Disney World
College Program presentation.
3. Make an appointment with a career advisor to check such
details such as your resume and credit qualifications. |
