Eleven agricultural
executives from China’s leading organizations and businesses
took part in a two-day educational seminar at HPU earlier this
month to learn techniques to help strengthen their marketing
and sales efforts.
HPU Marketing Professors Dr. Joseph and Dr. Yooncheong Cho led
the first-day sales and marketing seminar tailored specifically
for the visitors’ needs. The following day, the group visited
notable agricultural establishments on O‘ahu, such as KCC
Farmer’s Market, Armstrong Produce, and Dole Plantation. |

The visitors, made up of managers
and directors in China’s agricultural industry, represented
many businesses, including the China Vegetables Circulation
Association, Jiangsu Province Huaihai Vegetable Whole Market
Co, Zhongshangtie Vegetable Co., Huafu Commercial and Trade
Co., and YunNan YuanMo City Vegetable Co.
This is the fifth group of executives from China to utilize
HPU’s
educational resources as part of a partnership between the University;
the state Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism;
and the China Hotel and Restaurant Association. |
