Accounting club updated

On March 5, the Accounting Club at HPU, in conjunction with the Hawai‘i Society of CPAs and the O‘ahu Chapter of the Hawai‘i Association of Public Accountants presented an Accounting Students’ Night at the Japanese Cultural Center Manoa Ballroom.

Rodney Harano, CPA, president of the Hawai‘i Society of CPAs and partner in KHSK CPAs, Inc., provided an update on the CPA Exam scheduled for April.

Accounting students from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, and at West O‘ahu, Chaminade University, and Brigham Young University mixed with HPU students, students from O‘ahu community colleges and professional accountants from a number of different firms.

Cost for the event, which began at 5:30 p.m., was $10 for students, but the HPU club subsidized its members.
