Out of Bounds: field fillers point of racing

Major League Baseball has them. The National Football League has them. The National Basketball League has them. And even the National Hockey League has them. So why does NASCAR think they are any different?

Baseball: 19 games 17 days and then California

Before leaving for a California road trip during spring break, the Sea Warriors baseball team played three mainland schools in a grueling 19-game, 17-day home stand. HPU hosted Tampa University, Presbyterian College (South Carolina) and Cal State-Dominguez Hills at Aloha Stadium and finished with nine wins, 10 losses and an overall record of 15-16.

Women split four drop one

“California was disappointing for us,” the assistant coach of HPU’s women tennis team Sasha Parc said. The Lady Sea Warriors lost two games and won two.

International soccer champs at HPU

HPU has two soccer teams, the Green and the White. Jimmi Hemmenbach is captain of the No. 1-ranked White that won the local league championship last December against Lanikai Tuesday.
