Dr. Carlos Juárez, associate professor of political science and program chair in the College of International Studies at HPU was appointed acting dean of International Studies, effective July 1.

The appointment comes as Dr. Jeanne Rellahan leaves HPU to become dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Finlandia University in Michigan.

For the past four years, Juárez has worked closely with Rellahan and shared her understanding of the college’s faculty, mission, and direction, according to HPU President Chatt G. Wright, who announced the appointment.
