Hawai‘i Pacific University recently signed a study abroad
and exchange agreement with Hochschule fuer Bankwirtschaft
(HfB), the Business School of Finance and Management, located
in Frankfurt, the financial hub of Germany.
The agreement allows students from the German business school
to study at HPU for one semester and have their credits honored
by their institution and applied toward their degree. HPU courses
include business and finance classes at the junior and senior
level. Six students from HfB will study at HPU this fall. |

“We are very excited to establish a collegial relationship
with one of Germany’s finest business schools,” said
Elfi Stephenson, associate director of international marketing
at HPU. “This new relationship further intensifies HPU’s
commitment to the exchange of knowledge, culture, and academics,
and represents another opportunity for global citizenship.”
HfB Business School of Finance and Management is a private,
four-year college that offers bachelor’s and master’s
degrees in business administration. More than 550 students
are enrolled in the academic programs. The students who attend
the college are already employees of banks and other financial
institutions in Germany. |
