Hawai‘i Pacific University awarded more than 300 students associate, baccalaureate, and master degrees at its 58th commencement ceremony on Thursday, August 19th at the Waikiki Shell.

Honolulu Academy of Arts Director Stephen L. Little delivered the commencement speech and was also given the Fellow of the Pacific Award, the University’s highest accolade. It recognized Little’s outstanding contributions and service to the community and higher education.

The three valedictory speakers were Patricia Synphias (B.A. in Advertising), a native of Cannes, France; Amanda Peeni (Masters in TESL), from Juneau, Alaska; and Katrina Peace (B.A. in HR Development) from Everett, Washington. The speakers represented the on-campus baccalaureate degree program, graduate program, and military degree program, respectively.
