Basketball
team is set to tip off season
The HPU men’s basketball team will look
to improve upon last season’s 9-17 record after enduring
a drastic off-season make over. The Sea Warriors have an
entirely new coaching staff—led by Athletic Director
and Head Coach J.D. Barnett—as well as eight first-year
players.

. HPU’s women’s volleyball team had
plenty to smile about as they returned home from their road
trip Oct. 22, having almost entirely dominated the competition.

White wins,
moves closer to playoffs
The HPU White soccer team continues to dominate
in the Hawaiian MISO-league. On Oct. 30, at Waipio Soccer Field,
it managed a thoroughly deserved 5-1 victory against Mililani
Soccer Club, taking a big step towards the playoffs.

Martin named
PacWest Player of the Week
Barbara Martin has been known all season as the
PacWest’s No. 1 hitter, maintaining the best hitting
percentage, and the No. 1 blocker—on Oct. 25 she was
given Player of the Week honors.
