Intercultural Performances

Hawai‘i Pacific University had another successful Intercultural Day April 22 on Fort Street Mall.

One of the biggest draws are the performances held at the end of the day.
Students and passerby were entertained by the Latinos Unidos organization, The United Samoan Organization, and more. The USO won First Place for the third year in a row.

Intercultural Day Parade and more

Another year, another colorful, loud, and entertaining HPU Intercultural Day.

And as with any HPU Intercultural Day, the annual parade of cultures entertained people on Fort Street Mall, King St., Bishop St. and Beretania April 22.

Some of the parade’s rowdiest were the United Samoan Organization, the Japanese Club, and the Norwegian Club.

During the parade, workers from restaurants took a break to wave at the parade members.
The parade is just part of the day, which also includes exhibits and performances.
