HPU Celebrates 40th Anniversary
HPU’s celebration of its 40th anniversary
climaxed on Fort Street Mall Sept. 16, with a Club Carnival,
a U.S. Constitution game, musical performances, and a 40-foot
cake. Alumni from all over the world participated in the activities
along with community leaders and HPU faculty, staff, and students. [More]

relief effort
The familiar red kettles accompanied by their
ringing bells may have had students and faculty wondering if
the Christmas season had hit Fort Street Mall a little early
this year. Santa may not be on his way yet, but the spirit
of giving abounds at HPU, as students, faculty, and staff joined
forces with The Salvation Army to raise funds for the Hurricane
Katrina relief effort, according to Scott Stensrud, HPU vice
