Adams is the honorary consul of Peru and Counselor to Bishop Museum for International Affairs. A retired career foreign service officer, he served as principal deputy in the Bureau of Counter Terrorism (U.S. Department of State) and as president and CEO of the United Nations Association of the United States.

The culturally diverse Middle Earth Ensemble included Andy Villas on boas, bass guitar, and vocals; Bahman Sarram on violin; Robert Rotzler on mandolin; and Frank Lazzano on dumbek and percussion.

In addition to Chang’s dancing, the audience enjoyed carrot cake.
