Fall of Fujimore -
dictator's path
Directed by Ellen Perry, the film The Fall
of Fujimore is an intimate, character-driven documentary
about the former leader of Peru, Alberto Fujimore. Under
suspicion for murder, corruption, and kidnapping in 2000,
Fujimore fled in exile to his homeland, Japan. Perry’s
film was made earlier in 2005. On Nov. 7, he was caught in
Chile on a tourist visa. Peruvian officials are preparing
a formal extradition request so he can be tried in Peru rather
