The
HPU downtown campus was transformed overnight into a
Bangkok city street. Some students, facutly, and staff
found themselves Lost in the process.
A magazine stand, a poultry stand, a bar, and
crowds of interested onlookers cluttered the middle of Fort
Street Mall Nov. 13 outside the Blaisdell Hotel, which houses,
among other things, HPU’s bookstore. The ABC TV show
Lost used the heart of the downtown HPU campus to create a
flashback scene set in Bangkok, Thailand. [More]

HPU
brings A Star of Joy to Honolulu
HPU’s International Chorale and Vocal
Ensemble presented their fifth annual winter concert, “A
Star of Joy” for the holiday season, at Central Union
Church on Dec. 1. Playing for the vocal groups, in its debut
performance, was the new HPU Chamber Orchestra. The performing
ensemble included a small group of string players (violin,
