HPU’s military education program has been named one of the top 30 colleges and universities for military service members, according to Military Advanced Education magazine.

“ We are pleased to have been recognized as a member of an elite group of academic institutions who serve military education,” said Robert Cyboron, HPU dean of Military Campus Programs.

“ Hawai‘i Pacific University recognizes the importance education contributes toward building and maintaining the best informed and most effective military in the world. We are proud to partner with Department of Defense off-duty voluntary education programs to help prepare the future leaders of our country.”

According to Military Advanced Education’s Web site, “We selected schools that are significant players in military education, whether for number of military contracts, number of military students served, availability of financial aid and scholarships, or other ‘military-friendly’ qualities.”

This is the first year Military Advanced Education has reviewed the top colleges and universities for military service members. An independent panel of judges analyzed more than 100 colleges and universities to narrow down the list to the top 30.
