The Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) has awarded scholarships to three HPU Travel Industry Management (TIM) students: Zhi Yang Yong, Uyen Nguyen, and Lee Hyun Lee.
Yong is from Singapore and a junior at HPU. He is the Director of Activities for the TIM Student Organization (TIMSO), works parttime on campus, and interns at the Hawai‘i Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association (HHSMA). Nguyen is from Vietnam and a sophomore at HPU. Lee Hyun Lee is from South Korea, in her second semester.

CMAA is a professional association for managers of membership clubs in America. The Club Foundation has distributed more than $3.5 million to support scholarships and grant programs.
