Chaplain's Corner
with Reverend Dale Burke

Stressed out by all the deadlines coming as we near the end of the semester? Fear not, there could be an easy solution. Being thankful could be the answer. Here’s why.

A recent University of Michigan study confirmed something that many people of faith and countless others have known for a long time: living with an attitude of gratitude for our many blessings is itself beneficial. Showing gratitude regularly can help you be healthier, happier, and better equipped to deal with stress. Is this your experience?

It is so easy in our busy culture to become so self-absorbed that we forget the real source of all good things. Thanksgiving is a day to pause and give thanks to our Creator for the abundance of blessings and opportunities that are ours. We get the day off, we gather family and friends together to share turkey, and hopefully we are all brought closer to one another.

Come join us as we pause to give thanks to God in an attitude of gratitude!
