The Lady Sea Warriors routed Whitworth University on November 22, 91-71, to earn their first victory against a nonconference opponent in the program’s history. HPU also earned its first win of the 2008-09 season.

The Lady Sea Warriors finished the game with three players scoring double-digits, led by Maltressa Neely’s game-high 25 points. Paris Gravely and Mana Hopkins scored 16 and 14 points, respectively.

It was a record night for HPU, reaching 91 points and winning by a 20-point margin, the highest in the program.

On Nov. 27-29, HPU competed in the Glacier Classic hosted by the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. The Lady Sea Warrior’s next home game is Dec. 15 at the Neal Blaisdell Center against Montana State-Billings. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.
