Plastic pollution contaminates our oceans

Millions of mammals, birds, fish, and reptiles are being killed every year by plastic bags. It is estimated that plastic bags take up an area double the size of Texas in the Pacific Ocean between San Francisco and the Hawaiian Islands. Many countries and states are joining together in an effort to control the plastic pollution that is contaminating our oceans.
