Men’s soccer
places second in PacWest
HPU men’s soccer faced Chaminade
on Oct. 30 and inched closer to the PacWest title. The
Sea Warriors moved into first place of the conference,
after a 6-1 win over the Silverswords. The Sea Warriors
improved to 9-5-1 overall, and 7-2 in the PacWest, in
front of Notre Dame de Namur (6-1-1) and Grand Canyon
(5-1-2).

HPU upsets PacWest volleyball
champs
Although the HPU women’s volleyball
team failed to make the postseason, it ended the season
with a bang, upsetting the 12-0 PacWest champs. The Lady
Sea Warriors showcased one of their best performances
of the season at St. Andrew’s Priory and shocked
the entire conference by trouncing Brigham Young University-Hawai‘i
in four sets. After losing the first set, 17-25, HPU
took the next three, 26-24, 25-18, 25-21.

exception. She is the new color broadcast commentator
for the HPU Lady Sea Warriors volleyball team, joining
play-by-play commentator Brent Curry.
